In January, Beth TInker ’97, a math/biology double major turned museum professional, celebrated the opening of . Sponsored by the American Friends Service Committee, the exhibition opened at the Smithsonian's African American Museum in Philadelphia.
Tinker, with some summer-internship help from Isabella Dorfman ’17, curated the exhibition, which addresses the issues of peace-building, discrimination, prisons, just economies, and immigrant rights. The final section is a Call to Action, inspiring visitors to engage in justice work beyond the museum.
The exhibition closes April 23, but says Tinker, “it will be traveling the country, so check it out if you have a chance!â€
