Biography
Josué Chávez is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½. His research investigates how writers and visual artists from Central America have interpreted global transitions across the 20th and 21st centuries. He completed his PhD in Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Pennsylvania and his BA in Comparative Literature, with a focus on Spanish and Chinese, at Columbia University.
A dedicated and passionate teacher, Josué is committed to helping students acquire the linguistic, cultural and critical thinking skills necessary for students to reach their goals both inside and outside the classroom.
